Dr. Shilpa Rao is an Associate Professor in the Department of Neuropathology at the National Institute of Mental Health and Neurosciences (NIMHANS) in Bengaluru. She excels in diagnostic surgical neuropathology for both neoplastic and non-neoplastic diseases, covering muscle, nerve, infections, neurodegeneration, and epilepsy-related cases. Dr. Rao is also skilled in providing rapid intra-operative diagnoses for neurosurgeons and reporting various molecular and immunological tests for brain tumors, neuromuscular disorders, and neuro-immunopathology.
