Experience & Research Interest: Kavya has completed a Masters in Biochemistry at Padmashree Institute of Management and Sciences -Kengeri, affiliated with Bangalore University, with a grade point of 8.1 CGPA. Previously worked (April 2023-Sept 2024) in WT-DBT funded project on “Urogenital Tract Homeostasis and Repair Group” at Institute for Stem Cell Science and Regenerative Medicine (Instem) as a Project Associate-1 Under the guidance of Dr. Diya Binoy Joseph, she has worked on the role of Galectin-3 in the lower urinary tract.
Presently, she’s working as a junior research fellow (JRF) in HBTR, Department of Neuropathology, on a project entitled “Development of Indigenous imaging-based intraoperative probe for brain tumor delineation.”
